sted Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 has anyone got a guide on how to do this so you dont get uac prompts and it actually lets non admins run java applets on websites as after 7u? it just seems to go into "sulk" mode and allow nobody but an admin to do anything secure ill grant you but useless
sted Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 well i seem to of lost the uac prompts but i suspect thats because ive updated my test pc to 40 so there are no update versions to install. Still get this though normal mst settings to disable java update (not that they seem to work) and make it work in ie and created deployment.config/properties with the following settings deployment.config deployment.system.config=file\:C\:/WINDOWS/Sun/Java/Deployment/deployment.properties deployment.system.config.mandatory=true deployment.properties deployment.security.level=MEDIUM deployment.expiration.check.enabled=false deployment.security.mixcode=DISABLE deployment.insecure.jres=ALWAYS
