How to deploy software in 2012 SCCM?

Hello,

 

I need to deploy Pro desktop V8 on all computers around our school via the 2012 SCCM, has anyone got any instructions is how to do this please?

If it's an MSI, deploy it as an Application, if it's an EXE, you'll have to do it as a package.

Deploy it to a device collection, make it required, then you won't need to faff around with approval etc.

Bloody marvellous. I resent having to use Packages when Applications are so much more robust and flexible. Cheers

Office 2010 is just setup.exe as a application. Depends how your application is packaged and any customisations you do.
