Hi All,

Apologies if I have posted this into the wrong category!

We are setting up google apps within our school and wish to syncronise the AD user accounts and passwords.

I've successfully set up the GADS tool and I am able to synchronise accounts, groups and OUs.

On our network, we have three domain controllers. I've installed the GAPS tool on all three domain controllers and set them up with the same settings. DC2 and DC3 are able to update the passwords correctly, where as DC1 will not work.

We store the email address of the google account in the postOfficeBox AD field and I have set up the GAPS tools to reflect this. If I look in the logs for DC1 the error shows that %USERNAME% is not found on the google apps domain and therefore the password cannot be updated. If I force the password update on DC2 or DC3, with the same account, I see %USERNAME%@%DOMAIN NAME%.

Any thoughts how I can troubleshoot this please? I've rebooted the DC, recreated the configuration file, uninstalled the sync tool, reinstalled with the latest version...

Many thanks, Matt
