rocknrollstar Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 We have some Fujitsu AH512 laptops, which seem to have come pre-setup with a bios password. I have a feeling it may have been set by 'someone', as I've not heard of it being set by default before. Any idea how to get it, or what the default password might be? Have tried password and Password and Fujitsu..... Thank you.
speckytecky Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I'm thinking these have the American Megatrends MB? If so then it's pretty much a case of replacing the MB. I had the same problem on some Lenovo's. Unwisely, probably, we had never BIOS supervisor Passwords and one of our little dears discovered this and set one. Never discovered which kid it was but after much communication Lenovo replaced the MB out of goodwill. Needless to say all our kit now has the BIOS supervisor PW set as a priority. It sounds like you have suffered the same problem as I'm pretty sure the manufacture doesn't set a default Supervisor PW. 1
rocknrollstar Posted September 5, 2013 Author Posted September 5, 2013 Yes, will need to do this now. Problem is, the laptop wasn't around children at all!
difinity Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 Does the laptop show an error code after you've tried to put in a BIOS password ?
