Papercut client notifications

In am effort to further reduce printing costs I would like to enforce some more restrictions using the extra scipt functionality. My problem is is that I disable the notification area via gpo. I want to allow just paper cut and hide everything else. Is there a way to do this. I know you can do this via the registry but it would differ from machine to machine. The must be someone who has this issue.

Could you use the PaperCut pop ups rather than the notification area?

What is there to hide in the notification area? You are making life hard for yourself here.

Solus 3 agent, sophos, graphics properties to name a few..

If you have the PaperCut client installed and its hidden it will still pop up with messages, client codes and how much it costs for the job.

 

Why would you want to hide the Sophos one, you can lock down the functions with a password so no one can change anything.

Those are my thoughts... We disable the graphics icon and hotkeys via group policy template. Thats the only thing that is removed. There is no harm in going into other stuff.

Yes students and staff are obviously not sophos admins so no bother there.. Its balloon notifications I want not the actual client pop up that works. Where did you find the hot keys and graphics adm

Ah, all our machines are the same and use Intel graphics cards. What make are yours?
