wesleyw Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Okay so I've installed everything for both I then come to connect the Office Web Apps server to our SharePoint Installation and I get the following: PS C:\Users\Administrator> New-SPWOPIBinding -ServerName https://folders. schoolname.county.sch.uk New-SPWOPIBinding : The ServerName argument is invalid. At line:1 char:1 + New-SPWOPIBinding -ServerName https://folders.schoolname.county.sch.uk + ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ + CategoryInfo : InvalidArgument: (Microsoft.Share...tNewWOPIBind ing:SPCmdletNewWOPIBinding) [New-SPWOPIBinding], SPCmdletException + FullyQualifiedErrorId : Microsoft.SharePoint.PowerShell.SPCmdletNewWOPIB inding I've been through google etc not much help. There is no SSL cert for currently for the internal name but I specified https://folders.schoolname.county.sch.uk for both internal and external access (it will only work internally on that at the moment anyway). But I can't get it to connect at all. Any ideas? Thanks. Wes
GarryH Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Hi, I had the same issue, i had to remove the https:// from the ServerName, and that worked for me.
