Veron Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 I am setting up my server roles. I am trying to set up DNS Server but it keeps prompting me to insert the SP2 Disk. I have downloading SP2 and tried to use that but no joy. I read on a forum somewhere to download the i386 image and then rename it to iso and then mount it. Still not having any joy. Could someone please advise me how to get this SP2 Installed. I'm scratching my head here as when i check it says 2003 sp2. Any ideas?
MatthewL Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 2003 had 2 disks, second was for the R2 part, although it prompts for SP2 it's the R2 bit.
Veron Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 I have tried the r2 disk. Nothing happens, It says d/i386 and when you click o.k it just flashes and does nothing

cpjitservices Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 I never had 2 discs for 2003, there was just one - we had 2003 Standard. You could download SP2 from the net and extract the files see if that works ?
