DirSync errors event ID 0,110, 655,6801,6803

We have recently installed Dirsync and hope to roll out Office 365 for September

 

Yesterday one of our Hyper-V Host crashed bringing the VM that had the DirSync down.

 

It all rebooted back ok but noticed in Event ID log that :

as well as numerous others 0, 110, 655, 6901, 6803 all pointing to an un-contactable authentication server from MS

 

I Flush the DNS off the Dirsync server and restart the DNS client and things seem settled, presuming that Event Log shows Event ID 653 and 654 indicating that the provisional credentials have been 'pinged' ok again

 

The errors popped back after a few hours whereby I flushdns and restart DNS Client and it seems to work again.

 

Just getting my head round Office 365 mind so could this be MS Office 365 end these few days that's an issue and the server rebooting and coming back was just a coincidence when these issues started?

I have now forced a sync via powershell start-onlinecoexistancesync

 

Still fails with similar errors in event viewer.

The best thing to do here is to contact Microsoft support.

 

Support for Office 365 Education is free and 24x7 - you can log a service request via the admin portal, and from there you can also find the phone number.
