Mac Mini - How to AppleID.

So the music dept. has decided to get 3 mac minis, I've told them that they won't be allowed onto the windows domain (For a start I've no clue how to, nor have the time!)

So for now I've set them up as standalone machines, now is it correct of me to create an AppleID for each machine for software downloads etc. ?

You can use the same one for all of them. Assuming they're network connected for internet access, you could still make use of Meraki (easy, free) for basic management.

I was a bit confused as we also purchased 3 copies of some software and got three codes, I might stick with 3xAppleIDs to keep things simple(ish)
