cwade100 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Hi, has anyone come across the issue of backing up a group policy from GPMC? The error i am recieving is that i am using an incorrect user name and password??? But i am a domain admin account, the permissions look all ok. I have also tried it via Powershell with no success.
Kitkatninja Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 See here, applies To: Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 You must have Read permissions on the GPO and Write permissions on the folder containing the GPO backup to perform this procedure As it may apply to your situation. You may be logging on as a Domain Admin, but that account may not have the rights.
cwade100 Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 Thanks Wagnerk, but still an issue, followed the steps. Even uninstall GPMC and Re-installed GPMC but no change
