ICT technician - South East London - temp to perm

I need a technician with good desktop support experience in South East London. They need to have maybe 1+ years commercial experience and a good self starter attitude. You will be working within a new BSF IT team and will be supporting two schools networks (one secondary one primary). The role will initially be a temp/contract until the end of the year where the likelyhood is that it will turn into a permanent post at around £18K. The temp rate is to be around £70-£82 per day

 

Good windows knowledge and hopefully some IT qualifications is required. the role is to start immediately.

 

The BSF provider who you will report into is a major player in the greater london area and it is likely that there will be many opportunities for promotion and career advancement.

I'm afraid so although tbh I would look at school leavers with some voluntary experience and the right attitude and the career progression available should be very good

To be honest id love a crack at it, ive worked in an inner city school for the past 3 years as a IT Technician. Also provided support for CMIS/Eportal, produced the website design and maintained, Flash - CSS - HTML - Small PHP experience. CompTIA+ training but no exam. Buliding workstations from scratch, incharge or ordering supplies etc. Staff training on Office, internet, and various software applications used specifically within the school. Great relationship with all staff and SLT/SMT
