I have xibo installed and im playing around with it as potentially we could start using it widespread. I have created a background template and I have setup my regions with a test image, and I have a ticker running along the bottom.

 

I`m having a few issues. I have recently changed the background image and the changes havnt replicated to the client (been running for 3 days now) I have tried ticking the priority box in the schedule now, and adjusting the duration but it doesnt seem to do anything. when I first made the change it made the change except for one of the regions, again I tried modifying duration and priority to now avail, then this morning iv come in and all the changes I made have gone.

 

Can someone walk me through the process of setting up a message

May not solve your problem entirely, but if you have scheduled a template and it doesn't appear straight away you need to go to the full calendar/schedule and remove the multiple entries.

If the changes are not being pulled from the server, I found the quickest/easier way to ensure it downloaded the new content was to delete all the content from the local xibo library on the client. That way when the Xibo client starts it will be forced to download the content again at which point it should pull down all the latest versions.
