Datacable is a company which supports ICT in schools in the Leeds / Bradford

area. We provide a complete range of services; the current vacancy is for a

school support technician.

 

The job offers excellent security, an exciting degreee of independence, a

stimulating working environment, and very appreciative customers

 

 

We are looking for an energetic, intelligent person with good people and

computer skills. The successful candidate will have shown enterprise in

extending their knowledge by their own efforts.

 

You will be given your own schools to take care of, and you will make

regular scheduled visits to them. Although you will work independently under

your own supervision, considerable help is always available from the rest of

our very capable and supportive team.

 

Enhanced CRB certification is imperative. You may be allocated schools

anywhere in the Leeds / Bradford area, so will need to live locally, own

your own car and have a full driving licence - mileage is paid at the

approved rate.

 

The job is highly demanding and skilled in two ways. You will be expected to

set up first-class relationships with the staff of the schools you work in,

and to earn their appreciation by the efforts you make for them. And you

will be expected to develop your expertise in installing and maintaining all

the components of a school computer network.

 

The successful candidate may or may not have relevant experience or

qualifications.We are happy to train applicants who show the right attitude,

and equally happy to accept applicants who are already familiar with the

work; this will be reflected in the starting salary.
