Benner900 Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 (edited) Have just had My LEA complete my change request for HAP as well as my SSL Certificate arrive so today is the first day I can test and try HAP from Home before Allowing staff to use the service. Got 2 problems that I have run into quite early however. Hopefully found a solution to the first Problem Link On My Win7 PC at home with IE10 I am unable to login and get the following error in the developer Console, SCRIPT5009: 'WebForm_DoPostBackWithOptions' is undefined login.aspx, line 1 character 1 If IE is put in IE8 or 9 mode I can login perfectly Fine as is the same with Chrome and Firefox. 2nd issue occurs in all browsers I have tested. IE, Chrome and Firefox. This is the same as Someone has put in the top sticky in which file of name " " already exists. Clicking Ok attempts the upload and it then fails with Upload of has failed! Value cannot be null. Parameter name: No File Attached! Server is 2008R2 running IIS7.5. Thanks for any help Ben Edited July 15, 2013 by Benner900
nickbro Posted July 15, 2013 Posted July 15, 2013 With the 2nd issue, can you try downgrading jquery to v1.8.3: http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.3.min.js 1
Benner900 Posted July 16, 2013 Author Posted July 16, 2013 Hi Nick, Thanks for the reply. Just tried downgrading to V1.8.3 and theres no difference. On upload it still prompts that it is untitled and it wants to overwrite untitled. And then fails becasue the value cannot be null. Ben
nickbro Posted July 16, 2013 Posted July 16, 2013 Which uploader are you using? Drag and Drop? Upload button and single uploader? Upload button and multiple uploaders?
Benner900 Posted July 17, 2013 Author Posted July 17, 2013 (edited) Hi Nick, I have tried Drag and dropping files into the file area, Upload button selecting just 1 file and Upload button selecting multiple files and they all give the same message about being untitled. The Only difference is when using the multiple selection it prompts multiple times that all files being uploaded are untitled. Edit: On Windows XP on IE8 you get the uploader which says file1: file2: etc. The upload does work on that version but does not on Win7 with IE10 in IE8 mode. Chrome also does not work on Windows XP. Ben Edited July 17, 2013 by Benner900 More Information
nickbro Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Right, another try with this issue, 1st we will try the drag and drop, see if we can get the debug info. What you will need: 1. Open ~/myfiles/default.aspx with nodepad 2. Go to Line 650 3. Insert above that line: console.log((event.target.files || event.dataTransfer.files)[i]); 4. replace the lines below with: /*var file = new Upload((event.target.files || event.dataTransfer.files)[i], item.Data.Path); uploads.push(file); file.Start();*/ 5. Load Your Browser 6. Login to HAP+ 7. Go to My Files 8. Access the folder you want 9. Press F12 (IE/Firebug) or Firefox > Web Developer > Web Console > Untick CSS/Security 10. Try to drag and drop a file to upload 11. Note what the console does To undo: 1. Open ~/myfiles/default.aspx with nodepad 2. Go to Line 650 3. Remove it 4. Remove /* and */ from the 3 lines below
Benner900 Posted July 18, 2013 Author Posted July 18, 2013 Thanks for the reply, After doing the above and completing the steps as I drop the file into the My Files area I still get prompted that it is untitled, Clicking ok to this gives the following error in the console, POST https://*******:442/HAP/api/myfiles-upload/U/ 500 (Internal Server Error) *******:442/HAP/myfiles/:163 Upload.ContinueUpload *******:442/HAP/myfiles/:163 $.ajax.success *******:442/HAP/myfiles/:163 l jquery.min.js:2 c.fireWith jquery.min.js:2 T jquery.min.js:2 r jquery.min.js:2 Ben
nickbro Posted July 18, 2013 Posted July 18, 2013 Can you follow the steps in http://www.edugeek.net/forums/home-access-plus/118903-hap-v9-2-various-ajax-glitches-myfiles-2.html#post1026110, re-apply v9.2 just to be on the safe side 1
Benner900 Posted July 19, 2013 Author Posted July 19, 2013 The steps in the last part of the the other thread works for me, Thanks Nick, Ben
WLS-ITGuy Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 With the 2nd issue, can you try downgrading jquery to v1.8.3: http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.3.min.js Hello all, HAP+ is awesome. Having the same issue as listed here...Not a web guy so how do I go about doing this?
FishCustard Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Hello all, HAP+ is awesome. Having the same issue as listed here...Not a web guy so how do I go about doing this? Download this file: http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.3.min.js Put it in the \Scripts folder under your root HAP install folder (usually C:\inetpub\wwwroot\HAP\Scripts). Rename the jquery.min.js that's already in the folder to something like jquery-old.min.js Rename the file you downloaded to jquery.min.js
nickbro Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 v9.3 should of fixed the issue without downgrading jquery
WLS-ITGuy Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 (edited) v9.3 should of fixed the issue without downgrading jquery When I try to upgrade to 9.3 nothing displays...I extract everything and then copy and paste it over the existing HAP directory correct? I have done this twice. Once without stopping the services for IIS and once with, both had the same results...nothing would display. Edited July 25, 2013 by WLS-ITGuy
nickbro Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Errrr, nothing will display? Can you expand a bit on that, screenshots, etc.
WLS-ITGuy Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Errrr, nothing will display? Can you expand a bit on that, screenshots, etc. I retract that nothing will display - I rebooted the server, then got the LDAP error, then restarted the services and rebooted and now cannot log in through any account.

nickbro Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Just released v9.4, which adds the option to enable Secure LDAP, it will be disabled by default unless you turn it on. Sorry for this issue

nickbro Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Ok, the error coming up there is saying that your Administrator username/password is write, you may need to go to the setup.aspx page and reset it
WLS-ITGuy Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Hmm, missed 2 lines, re-uploaded v9.4 I am going to assume that I need to redownload and "reinstall"
WLS-ITGuy Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I am going to assume that I need to redownload and "reinstall" Upgraded to 9.4 and now I get internal server error no matter what browser I use. I re-entered the admin/password but nothing has improved.
nickbro Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Is the internal server error coming up in a Browser popup, or the whole page? If the latter, try going to the site from the server
