replacement for RM Mobile One

Hi all,

 

RM are discontinuing the RM Mobile One note which, we currently use as student laptops across the college. we have had a couple of machines on trial a stone one which we thought the screen was just too flimsy and a Lenovo E530 which we've just found out a replacement keyboard is £50 a pop and as this is one of most replaced parts this makes this a non-starter.

 

what laptops would be a good fit for a school, I know we're never going to get a exact copy of a Mobile One but we would like something which would stand up to a few knocks and parts are cheap and readily available. Any suggestions?

Sorry you felt that about the Stone eval unit. I'll be able to offer you some other options. We have a couple of Stone notebooks and some other vendor suggestions you'd probably be interested in to match the Mobile One spec. Out of interest which Stone notebook did you try so I can send the new options through?
