Meru Controller Model MC1500 - server certificate

Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove a server certificate from a meru mc1500 controller? Whenever I try I receive the following warning:-

 

"certificate is currently in use. please make sure certificate in not used by any application before deleting"

 

The certificate has been assigned to the captive portal but no longer required.

 

I would be grateful for any help.
