Blackberry Enterprise Server To Exchange 2008

Good Afternoon All!

 

I'm looking for some advice on moving from BES to exchange. I know that BES is a portal to Exchange and has some features but is that it!? What is the advantage?

 

We are wanting to add Iphones and Android's to our email network but worried about security. If I remove BES, can our blackberry's still be able to connect to Exchange and be able to get contact, emails and calenders?

 

Anyone had any experience with this?

Unless the blackberries are active sync enabled that have to connect via BES.
