Windows surface

Hi guys

 

What's the best way of a teacher using a windows surface to control there pc at the front of the class that has a projector and interactive white board. I was thinking maybe a wireless projector and load the software on to the tablet. Or cheaper option vnc into the pc from the tablet.

 

Any other suggestions?

Its really a case of searching the windows store for "remote". PC Remote windows looks like it will do the job. Also maybe you could use a logmein account and use IE rather than an app?

Hi, I'd just use VNC if I were you it's simple and easy to set-up. Apps are all well and good though we had a lot of problems with Windows 8 apps on our network all the council kept doing was blocking them!!! GRRR

what about remote support via rdp its built into windows just needs gpo setting so it can be used

buy a pro... then use a wireless dongle to the smartboard! and the pro runs normal software and apps.

 

But not really an answer I know, we have used VNC in the past works fine!
