Windows 8 disappearing IE 10 metro app

Hello,

 

This seems to be a normal thing in Windows 8 on some users profiles the IE app tile has gone.

I have tried all the steps ive found on the web including:-

 

Setting IE as the default browser.

Removing and reinstalling IE 10 via Windows 8 features.

I've tried using the Bing app to search for a webpage then pinning the page.

 

Nothing is working.

 

If i log in as the administrator the IE app is there, so its something to do with the users profile.

There is no other browser installed so i,m at a loss now. I was pin the most used pages to the start page for a better experience.
