Smoothwall stripping POST data from custom iPad app

Hi Folks

 

We've coded a simple iPad app here that passes some data to our servers using php and POST.

 

It all works fine on the swgfl proxy, at home, etc- but when connected to the regular smoothwall proxy the request still completes as the php script runs (it adds an entry to a database) but all the data that should have been in the POST has been removed/blank.

 

I've tried it with another external POST server and have the same problem.

 

Talked to smoothwall support and they suggested disabling the "http strict mode" in the settings but this hasn't had any effect.

 

I know this is a bit of a wild one, but does anyone have any other ideas?

Thanks Tom, no I wasn't.

 

I've managed to add to a whitelist and this seems to be working- thanks for your reply and all the help I had from smoothwall support.
