Hi,

Got a question from home.

Ive just brought a cheap projector for home. The location of the projector needs to be almost exactly where the room light currently is so I'm trying to come up with a new mount.

I like the look of this

But the projector requires 10cm below for cooling so would need to adapt is slightly. It also need to be hung upside down.

Under the mount I will then need to fit a fairly slim light.

My current fan light hangs 40cm from the ceiling.

The projector and cooling gap will require 20cm so hoping for a light thinner than this.

How do you think it would look?

Any tips?any recommendations on the light.

Thanks

I'd mount the projector slightly in front of the light (between light fixing and screen). You might have to lose the fan, but there'll be a plethora of pendant light fittings to choose from and only minor alterations to make.

I suppose if I extended the light cable I could move the light backwards and clip it onto the mount.

Will take a look when I get back.

Yeah, the fan will go. It hasn't worked for about 3 years now as the remote light switch can't handle the power needed to run it :).

Thanks
