Windows 7 sysprep

Hi All,

 

Ive been using Sysprep for all our Win xp machines and now im imaging our Win 7 machines but ivve been told the sysprep is on the C: Drive of the Win 7 machines.

 

I cant find it in the folder it should be in. Has it changed name?

ah im a noob to win7 sysprep, Ive used the XP one but win7 is totally different!

 

how does it work and how can I capture an image to put onto the server to install on another computer?

Sysprep.exe /oobe /shutdown /generalize at elevated command prompt.

Yes to the above but MDT is a far easier soulution to this and makes deployable images a doddle to create.
