[sims] IEP Writer, 'New' greyed out

We have just bought IEP Writer V3, and as per instructions supplied

 

I have done the DbUpgrade using the patch to add the licence.

Installed IEP to S:\SIMS\IEPV3

Gone into SEN Setups and added the path to the IEP executable.

 

If logged in as me the system manager, when i select SEN from a student details i get the 'New' option from under IEP and when i click it the IEP writer loads and fills the details in.

 

When anybody else does the same the 'New' is greyed out, nobody else can add IEP's.

 

I have looked in System Manager at the permissions and i cannot see anything about IEP's

 

Anybody have any idea why only i can add a new IEP? What have i not done?

Pars > pupil info button (i in tool bar) ... PARS IEP .... we have our own aswell as links to SIMS. May be worth checking it out. Allows you to create your own targets, free text comments... PARS wiki; Jennys training guides, bottom right if main page...section on IEP.

 

...just options :-)

IIRC, for this permission, users need 'SEN Coordinator' permissions in SIMS.

..And probably permissions over that iep folder on the SIMS drive.
