Active boards\drivers remote desktop rdp

We are moving over to remote desktops for all our pcs in school using W2008r2 and remote desktop terminal services still using full pc's). But we are struggling to get the rdp client to see that there is a whiteboard plugged in, i have installed the software on the 2008r2 server and made sure that on the client the usb ports are been pulled into the session. I have even tried to install the drivers locally in a hope that this would help, but it will still not work.

Promethean do not currently support any thin client environments. However we are aware of instances where our equipment and software works in this environment. We would recommend that you are running the very latest versions of ActivInspire (v1.7.621) and ActivDriver (v5.9.22). These are bundled together in the ActivInspire installer located on Free Teaching Resources, Lesson Plans & Worksheets
