Morning,

I have a problem with a couple of chromebooks and wonder if anyone knows a fix. I have a couple which although were enrolled, were not picking the correct customisation settings up so I decided to factory restore one of them and start again. All went well until the enrolment process where I get the message "The policy downloaded from the server is invalid: Bad policy timestamp." I have tried auto enrolment and manual (my prefered way) and it keeps failing.

My admin console sees the chromebooks and registers when they were last used but refuses to enroll. Can anyone help me with this one?

Thank you

I just saw that too and think this may be the issue. It is about 3-4 min behind but now the issue is how to change the time. All you can do with the thing is change the timezone with no manual over-ride. I guess my new question is does anyone know how to force a sync?

Thanks

incase anyone ever has this problem and stumbles upon this thread. I connected the chromebook to my phone and it auto corrected its self.

i found there was something in my filtering blocking a google service. Worst case thought the tethering system does seem to work if you need to get around it quickly.
