ICT Technician - Kirklees

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic ICT Technician to join our existing team of highly motivated technicians, in providing first class support for all ICT hardware, software and systems across a variety of platforms and operating systems within Kirklees (WEST YORKSHIRE) primary schools. Applications are encouraged from candidates from an educational background. You will be mainly supporting primary schools and must have a good attitude towards working with children.

 

Applicants must have good experience in:

Server 2003 and Server 2008 operating systems

Windows XP, 7 and Microsoft Office software

Administration and troubleshooting of Active directory

Administration and troubleshooting of Group policy

Good understanding of DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP

 

You will:

- Be highly motivated with a can-do attitude

- Have relevant qualifications and/or experience

- Be willing to undertake further training as necessary

- Have excellent communication/interpersonal skills

You will need to be CRB checked before working on school premises.

Standard working hours will be 38 hours a week Monday to Friday and may occasionally require overtime.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and own transport.

Salary £16,000 - £24,000 (depending on experience & technical knowledge)
