synaesthesia Posted June 14, 2013 Posted June 14, 2013 (edited) Ugh, QA has really taken a nose dive in recent years. Harper Collins, I hope you read this... Just read my son a book. Well, sort of. It's barely a book and it's barely reading. "Harper Collin's World Atlas for Children." It's diabolical! It's full of grammatical errors (I'm no expert!), and the very first page is, with no word of a lie, no context removed or information missing: "This is a map of the World. It shows all the of the world. This map shows land and water." I re-read it several times trying to make sense of it. And it's far from alone in this dictionary of muppetry! "Kenya is country in Africa" Has anyone else read any books that aren't fit to use as fuel for a fire? Edited June 14, 2013 by synaesthesia
