Oakie Posted August 17, 2007 Posted August 17, 2007 paste this, including the colons into the run box. ::{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} 2
EduTech Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 now that is pretty smart, but would hate to type that in everytime.. but yh why do you want to do this? just curious James
AliC Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 This is required for people who do not have access directly to the recycle bin as the admin of a collage or organization can block the access to a recycle bin so, this run command helps to have access to the recycle bin. Hope that is a sufficient enough answer
Ignatius Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 There's also: cd c:\recycler then dir /a which gives the directory names (are they the SIDs?) for the users so it's possible to navigate into those folders (with appropriate permissions). However, the file names aren't normal. There's a forensic tool (Rifiuti - Foundstone Free Tools) which can be used to interrogate the filenames.
