tech_guy Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Hi, we're looking to upgrade our interactive whiteboard / projector provision in 19 of our classrooms this summer holiday. The current equipment is five years old and the HT wants it replacing. We need a company to provide and install a new solution. Any recommendations? We'd rather use a company located near to us (North Warwickshire area/Leicestershire border). PM me if you're a company and are interested. Many thanks!
crt404 Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 We used Misco's installation services to do about 35 installations - they did a cracking job. Only word of warning, after they did our installation they started using plastic interface plates rather than the metal ones. Worth a check. You should be able to get a hefty discount off their installation list price if you have 19 to do. We got them to do each for about £200/£250 IIRC.
Trapper Posted May 30, 2013 Posted May 30, 2013 Interactive Education based in Dudley. They do SMART, Promethian and their own. Make sure you ask for Carle the installer. Does excellent work.
RTFM Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 We've used @Millgate for this sort of thing, the boys are very good
RTFM Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 Sent over a PM for you Colin, just curious, with your AV section being quite new do you outsource your installs or is it done by Very installers?
VeryPC_Colin_F Posted May 31, 2013 Posted May 31, 2013 (edited) Hi RTFM. Yes the av portfolio is new to VeryPC - I use My installers that I have used for many years before Very Pc. So in a way yes they are outsourced. They are all smart and Promethean certified installers so no worries about problems with warranty's on that front. All CRB Checked etc. Hope that Helps Edited May 31, 2013 by VeryPC_Colin_F
