Hi Everyone,

Got an odd problem with FMS, I’ve basically upgraded our server and moved SIMS and everything to a new DC all seems to be fine apart from FMS won’t work. It pops up with the logon screen and prompts you for a username and password, then I get the following message:

Error

General SQL Error.

[Microsoft]

[sql Server]Could not find stored procedure ‘pix_GetARGUID’.

I’ve tried updating the SQL Native Client Driver to 2008 as suggested by someone else; Firewalls are all disabled. I tried a dummy username and password and it says invalid logon so I know its authenticating….. Any suggestions are welcome.

Hi Vickpaw,

I can confirm that I've done this several times, even tried pasting the install folder from the old server.

Tried FMSInst.exe that did nothing the. Went into the \Setups\FMS\ then ran the FMSApplication.exe which Installed the application and the SQL driver.

That's true. How did you move the database to new server. If in place detach reattach doesn't work, you might have to detach from old and reattach it to the new.

Worrying if a stored procedure is missing. Maybe run dbUpgrade and point it to the FMS setups folder to check that the FMS database has not somehow missed a database upgrade file.
