Problem with DevicePath when installign devices

Hi Folks..

 

Could anyone help me with a problem on a Windows 2011 SBS server (basically a Windows 2008 R2 Server)

 

For some reason, when I attempt to install any plug and play devices, it doesn't seem to be able to detect them from the normal inf location. What I have to do is let it attempt the installation which fails then right click on the device and click on update the driver. I then point it to the driverstore folder in windows/system32 and it then picks up the driver and installs it.

 

Any reason as to why it doesn't pick it up from the normal driver path which is set as %systemroot%\inf
