Moodle Front page Notification Plugin

Hi does any one know of any plugins or blocks which can be put on the front page so when a student logs in it shows their assignments that are due? So far they have to go into the course to see assignments due in that course.

Just turn on the My moodle view

You needed to replace your actual url in the example I gave - which gives something like this

I tried it, http://moodlename/my

Didn't work.

You need to login first and then add the /my or possibly /my/

 

the feature is called My Moodle and it is possible to force this on users from the Site Admin->Appearance->My Moodle

Is there a way so when a user logs in, it goes to there My Home straight away?

Yes - the answer is the Site Admin-Appearance-Navigation-Default Home Page
