free780 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Hi Im trying to do a build and capture of windows 7 sp1.i have enabled the windows update in the task sequence. I have also added wsusserver=http://wsusserver.domain.com The ztiwindowsupdate.wsf script only downloads and installs 2 updates. Ive noticed the windows updateagent needs updating. Wheb manaully starting a windows update this installs after a reboot. There is no manual installer for the latest update agent. The script believes the computer is up to date but isnt. Has anyone else encountered this issue?

free780 Posted May 23, 2013 Author Posted May 23, 2013 Yes. When I check the ztiwindowsupdate.log its says the computer is up to date. Its in windows/temp/deploymentlogs .So mdt skips the other steps.
free780 Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 Manage to fix it with a reg file and wucalt /detectnow this updated the agent. Fhe ztiwindowsupdate.wsf no updates.
