Ad93 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 I have just been wondering how people shut the computers on site down? We currently use Ranger to shut down the staff and student PC's but we are looking at leaving Ranger off staff computers when we move to Windows 7, so I was wondering what people use to shut computer down? Thanks A
FN-GM Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Scheduled task to run the shutdown command. Nice and simple. 1
sparkeh Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 Scheduled task to run the shutdown command. Nice and simple. Same, deliver the task via GPPs and you're set. 1
aleach2 Posted May 23, 2013 Posted May 23, 2013 We use GPUpdate by Specops. When we got our license it was fairly cheap. Good all round program and has lots of other little features which are quite nice. Adam. 1

Fazza Posted May 29, 2013 Posted May 29, 2013 With a mallet... That's the best way of dealing with Staff if you ask me! 1
