Raid Card

Hi Guys.

 

I'm looking for a raid card for my IBM x3455. Looking to mirror 2 500GB WD drives. I spend 3 hours looking for a on-board raid the other day and found nothing. Cheap as possible. I don't want to speak £200 on a raid card.

 

Any advice would be great. (I'm a bit of a noob when it comes to Raid cards).

In all honesty i dont know the age off the top of my head. 2008 maybe? I have a 16x riser card in there... Thats what's confusing the hell out of me.

I did think that atleast a couple of them would have the optional raid card addon, but no.

Do you know if that raid card will work with a 16bit raiser card?
