Old Promethean Boards

In the summer we will have several old Promethean boards going spare. They still work and I wondered if anyone knew of someone or some organisation which might like to take them? It seems such a waste to junk them

We a need to replace damaged boards and there is no budget.

 

So we are interested.

plenty of recycling companies will take them and give you cash back if you hunt about we use Enviro Electronics but they are probably a bit northern for you to use.

We will have 6 but they are very old - probably at least 10 years? I don't know what version they are I'm afraid - but they had the same boards in the school I was in 10+ years ago. They work fine though

I can't find a recycling company that will give us money for them down here - anyone know of any?

@witch: I don't think I could get our head to agree to those: We have one of a similar age that I am still trying to get re-installed

I think it is the way the board works: The board that we have waiting to be re-installed has a wide inactive border with the active region bracketed with marks printed on the board. Also the active area of the board is smaller.

 

We are having a block re-furbished after the Summer break and he has asked for boards that do not require a stylus to operate. Perhaps he has plans to move us away from Promethean on a school wide basis [but nothing I am aware of]
