shibboleth & AD

ok with the betca deciding to use shibboleth as single sign on etc

 

is it possable to get windows ad etc to use shibboleth system and users.

 

As while the new single sign will most likly have some kind of mechanism to extract users and passwords etc so could import them into your ad.

 

common sense would say getting shibboleth to talk to ad this may or may not be possable just random thoughts..

Windows Server 2003 R2 is going to have some new features for identity management - syncing from AD

right cant see shibboleth mentioned in there at end of day gettting to ad to support shibboleth is going to cut workload dwn quite conseradably...

You can sync up AD and Shibboleth using a Linux box running Samba + Winbind.
