HP2420 with onboard Jetdirect doesn't know the Jetdirect exists.

Sometime during the night a 2420 had printed out a Jetdirect diagnostic page (usual "Jetdirect has reset") and now doesn't know it has a Jetdirect onboard.

 

# Symptoms

 

Printing out a configuration page, there's nothing on there for the Jetdirect.

There's nothing in the config menu for the Jetdirect - it can't be configured.

The network port does get a link light, but no traffic is seen (light on port or switchport statistics)

Resetting to factory on boot

 

# Haven't tried yet

 

Reloading the firmware via parallel cable.

 

Any other ideas? I suspect it's dead Jim, but the printer's otherwise OK so I'd like to resurrect it if I can.
