Disabling alternative boot BIOS screen

I like to lock down student accessible workstations to only boot from the hard drive. On most computers this is an easy task.

 

I've got some new computer this summer (asus m2a-vm motherboards) that have a separate boot menu when you hit F8. This bypasses all of my security and even ignores setting a BIOS password. I can't find an option in the BIOS to disable the screen.

 

I'm pretty sure that I'm out of luck, but I thought I would ask to see if a solution exists.

Just a suggestion but try emailing Asus and explain the problem to them. Every time i've dealt with them they have been extremely helpful, although it was personal use not business.

 

I know on some bios'es you can disable startup keys via a hidden menu in the bios. My old MSI you had to press Shift + F2 to go to an advanced menu where you could tweak loads of extra bits.
