edie209 Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 I have installed a test set up for Remote Apps on Server 2012, if I publish various system apps like word pad or calculator everything work really well. However have installed Sims on this server which works when on the machine locally, but when published I can see the app and it works the same as other apps except it doesn't show the Sims log on prompt. Has anyone got any experience of this, or publishing Sims.net remotely with Server 2012?
localzuk Posted May 8, 2013 Posted May 8, 2013 What are you publishing? SIMS is launched by stringing 2 executables together - SIMSload.exe is the one that gets launched, then pulsar.exe is launched second to that. So, you'd want to publish pulsar alone - simsload runs the 'check for an update' aspect of the system. 2
