kearton Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y143/lesyeux/not-lupus.png When I saw this picture in a recent issue of "Custom PC" mag, I went trawling on the Net to try and find it because coincidentally I'd been thinking similar thoughts on the show i.e why is Lupus mentioned so much in the show? Is it a common disease? (i'd never heard of it before) Does anyone else find it amusing? (or is it just my warped sence of humour?) There's another one here (chunkier) with a nice youtube link to highlight their point... http://itsnotlup.us/
kearton Posted August 7, 2007 Author Posted August 7, 2007 I want to get this printed on a shirt. Any recommendations for makers of custom T-Shirts or Polo shirts?
TechMonkey Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Yep, big time fan here. I think lupus is just one of those disease that is well know as being rare so is always checked in odd cases. If you get what I mean. There are a whole list that are regularily brought up as possible, so a list of the less rare, rare diseases if you like.
Joedetic Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 LOL it's weird that i see this post /whilst/ watching house :| Most people i know love it tbh. New series out in the USA not to long from now according to a mate of mine
Guest richard Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Watched the first season and loved it but missed the latest stuff. So I know what I'm going to be looking for next
DMcCoy Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 I missed it when it started, but I caught up over a couple of weeks and I've been watching it whenever it's on since!
eduabncs Posted August 7, 2007 Posted August 7, 2007 Yup..I'am a fan too. Friends & family are under strict instructions not to disturb ne when it's on. Repeats of the first series are currently being aired on on five US.
StewartKnight Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 The wife likes house, and we watched a couple of series, one episode a night. Trouble was.... I started treating the teachers like house does Foreman, Chase and Cameron! We've now watched the 3rd series *cough* and she who must be obeyed has already scheduled 25th September as a do not disturb day!
kearton Posted August 10, 2007 Author Posted August 10, 2007 Trouble was.... I started treating the teachers like house does Foreman, Chase and Cameron! It could be worse... at least you're not treating them like he does Cutty!
SimpleSi Posted August 10, 2007 Posted August 10, 2007 I'm a big fan - love it. Just started watching Boston Legal - that's brilliant as well (and its fun looking out for the Star Trek references in it ) regards Simon
mrcrazy04 Posted August 11, 2007 Posted August 11, 2007 I'd not actually spotted that! The only thing with watching them early is the waits (3-4 weeks sometimes!), still sooner than five though! I once treated a particularly irritating person in a house-ish fashion once: "Why isn't my computer working?" "Because you're an idiot!" Luckily I got away with it, however in my defence, I had just explained the problem as simply as possible.
russdev Posted August 12, 2007 Posted August 12, 2007 Must admit we watched house first season few of two but we stopped watching lot of tv due to little one. Currently watching Heroes might catchup on house after that.. Russell
