Evolve how? I don't want my phone doing things without me touching it! The speakers in the HTC One are superior to those in the S4, the processor is pretty much identical in the UK release S4, the case on the HTC One is far superior than Samsung phones in my experience. HTC Sense is about 100000% better than Samsung's annoying software too...

 

 

 

My old HTC had an SD card, but in the 2 years I had it, I never once filled it. That was an 8GB card. This new one has 32GB of space and I'm never going to get anywhere near filling it.

 

My battery was also changeable, and I didn't bother - I used an external battery to charge it instead - much easier, as you don't have to turn the thing off.

Huh? The processor in the S4 is 200Mhz faster but other than that identical to the one in the HTC One... (It is in fact the same chip, just run faster - which would make me wonder about battery life). The UK isn't getting the Exynos-5 8 core. So, I'll take a better overall experience over a 200Mhz increase in speed that will be pretty much unnoticeable to the end user...

 

You forget about software too - the mess that is Kies. *shudder*

Ok...that's a fair point....up until about a year ago, when Kies became a lot easier to use! Especially across the wi-fi...

Now, unless you're going to be "sodcasting", I think it's called (see how old I am??) then there's really no real need for BOOMSOUND!

 

(However, if you ARE sodcasting, then I agree....you're one up on us Sammy fans!!!)

Also, it appears I have some super clever microphone in this phone too, able to record live audio, so great for bootlegging too... New ones won't have it though as Nokia have stomped on HTC using it illegally...

I think ill be plumping for one when my remainder of contract is up and booting the iPhone 4S to touch (battery lasts about 20 hours max on it now, whereas it was about 2 days when I had it, Should be cheap as then in 9 months when conctract is up, can't wait !
