Updating Sims on a remote desktop server

When I installed Sims on to our remote desktop server I needed to run the installer after clicking 'control panel / add remove programs / install remote apps'. This installed the software in a multi user environment.

 

What should I do to install the Sims updates?

 

Should I do the same as above ('control panel / add remove programs / install remote apps') and then run Sims which will kick off the updates?

 

Should I just remote in as a Sims user and run Sims in the remote desktop session which I presume would also kick off the updates?

 

How do you do it?
