The FT Today is carrying an interesting article on a New Tech Baccalaureate to be launched

 

I wonder why it's the FT and not th3e Government announcing it?

But 1) Not another thing to track. and 2) If it is anything like EBacc we won't know until the run up to results day and the government wanting to track it immediately with no students having been through an Options process to support it.

Good move in my opinion, and brings the Microsoft IT Academy accreditations to the fore, they are going to be critical in the coming years and really make the difference between candidates and schools who have or haven't got the accreditation.
