mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Just giving this a very quick test while I'm bored First off the help gives an error about ]]> on line 365, deleting this gets rid of the error, from the looks of things you've put it in twice. Also while everything worked first time the booking sheet on mine doens't appear to load properly, not entirely sure why though. I just get a blue line down the middle of the screen with "This week is week one" squashed up the top.
nickbro Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Forgot about that one, I'd fixed that internally but didn't check it in. Can you do some JSON debugging for the other error
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Forgot about that one, I'd fixed that internally but didn't check it in. Can you do some JSON debugging for the other error Will do now, also just noticed it shows up fine on the server logging in locally within school, but it's just from home that it's not showing up correctly (IE10 + chrome) possibly a permissions thing? Will check the JSON debuging now though
nickbro Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Odd, it works fine for me in FF and IE externally and internally. Let me know if you can find anything
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 ok i can't make head nor tails of the JSON debug and it's 61,000 characters so i can't post it
nickbro Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 61000 Characters?!?!?! You should get: 1) Initial Request which is the this is a week x and you have x bookings available 2) 1 Request for each Resource to the /loadroom/ api If you want, you can try going direct to the api and see what it spits out for each resource: /api/BookingSystem/LoadRoom/22-4-2013/RESOURCE
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 So this is what i get when i go to the api for one resource: [{"Date":"01Monday 1","DisplayName":"Craig CA. Sargent","EquipRoom":null,"LTCount":0,"LTHeadPhones":false,"LTRoom":null,"Lesson":"AM Reg","Name":"10E","Room":"T8","Static":true,"Username":"sargentc"},{"Date":"22\/04\/2013","DisplayName":"Julie Brindle","EquipRoom":null,"LTCount":0,"LTHeadPhones":false,"LTRoom":null,"Lesson":"Period 1","Name":"Year 8 DT Res Mat","Room":"T8","Static":false,"Username":"protheroe"},{"Date":"01Monday 1","DisplayName":"Craig CA. mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) Attached is what i see... EDIT: connecting to localhost works ok, connecting to schoolwebsite.net/hap/bookingsystem loads it incorrectly. EDIT2: control panel works fine though, it's literally just the booking sheet. EDIT3: i can also use the overview to search for a specific user and bring up their classes. Edited April 21, 2013 by mrbios
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Try a CTRL+F5, to clear the cache Tried that, also tried restarting both the site and the app pool on IIS while clutching at straws. What two outputs are you after?
nickbro Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 It looks to be CSS related, can you browse to /hap/style/bookingsystem.css and compare it to the actual file, see if they match. 1
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) It looks to be CSS related, can you browse to /hap/style/bookingsystem.css and compare it to the actual file, see if they match. hmm without knowing what's changed the only thing i can pick up on straight away is the last line... Loading the file on the server shows: "#datepicker .ui-datepicker { border-top: 0; }" at the end of the file, but browsing to that file doens't show that line EDIT: ah they definitely seem different Edited April 21, 2013 by mrbios
nickbro Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Yep, that's what I was after, it's gotten cached in your browser, try a CTRL+F5 while on the css file in the browser, it may change. 1
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Nope no change unfortunately even doing ctrl f5 while on the file in browser.
nickbro Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 odd, it's getting cached somewhere along the line, and HAP+ doesn't cache files 1
mrbios Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 (edited) odd, it's getting cached somewhere along the line, and HAP+ doesn't cache files hmmmm, well in that case i might just leave it until the morning, you never know it might clear itself given a bit of sleep EDIT: ahhhhh that did it, restarted my ISA server.....3 more months then i can delete that thing from existance. CAN'T WAIT! Thanks for the v9 update nickbro, that's me all done already and everything's working prim and proper Edited April 21, 2013 by mrbios
