I would say yes because I thought the same. but I'm leaning towards it was staged what are the chances that both would be filming.

Yup, me too - too much of a "coincidence"!

It depends on which country it was in - some require dash cams in all vehicles meaning that potentially there is footage of every event from multiple angles. Personally I reckon we ought to have dash-cams in this country too - might reduce insurance premiums as false claims would be more difficult when there is mandatory footage.
