Chromebooks

My elderly parents have suddenly decided to try out the internet.

I've suggested they get a cheap chromebook (easier for them to learn I guess, plus safer on the internet etc.)

They have zero experience of computers or internet, they are planning on going to a local library for a silver surfers session.(bless) ;p

 

Which one would people suggest ? I'm leaning more towards the samsung s3 rather than the acer c7 ?

have a Samsung XE500C21-HZ2UK (not sure what model or generation exactly of chromebook that is) at the moment on a trial and its not bad at all when up and running, only thing I find is that the apple style massive touchpad can be a bit quirky on the model that I am using and the "non-standard" keyboard can take a little getting used to if your a regular pc user, works well though I must say and has great battery life on this, impressed me overall here
