Yeo695 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 I'm pushing out a GPU to install MS works 6-9. They have an .msi for MS Works File Converter 4 but not for File Converter 6-9? Any ideas on where to get an .msi fro it? Thanks
MrEprise Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 This should be the one you need: Download Microsoft Works 6–9 File Converter It certainly says Works 6-9 converter so i'd assume this should be correct. 1
andy_b Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 If you extract the files from WorksConv.exe with 7zip (for example) there are four files including an msi. Haven't tested it - but it should work. 1
Yeo695 Posted April 11, 2013 Author Posted April 11, 2013 I got tired of messing around trying to find the msi so I just went and installed it on the computers that I needed to. Thanks for the suggestions though!
MrEprise Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 (edited) That's odd, the link I posted earlier definitely linked to a page with an MSI, now it's an EXE - what gives? EDIT: In future if you (or anyone else) wants just an MSI, you need to search for Works632_en-US.msi as this is the one I have and AFAIK I think it's newer than the one on Microsoft's site.
