Rawns Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Ages ago, when Gail became available, I set up a Gmail e-mail account and picked some random e-mail address but never really used it. Since then, I've got various Google services linked to it as well as an android phone with Play store purchases against it too. Now I want to actually use Gmail as my main e-mail service but don't want to use the e-mail address I set up originally. Is there any way I can change my Gmail address without affecting all the other Google services I use?
elsiegee40 Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 Set up another one to use. Then use the settings "Accounts and Import" to manage receiving and sending emails from the other account. It doesn't matter which one you choose to use as the master. My main gmail account is importing from 1 old gmail, 1 btopenworld, 1 tiscali and 1 EasyMail account! 1
Danp Posted March 22, 2013 Posted March 22, 2013 I don't think so, you could create a new one and add your then old one as a 2nd account and then phase it out?

Interesting, did not know you could import e-mail automatically from other accounts!
