ass17 Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Anyone have the same issue above when you login it waits 30 seconds until the screen changes to setting preferences etc. Our logins take around 80-100 seconds to login. Can we cut that initial 30 seconds down?
FN-GM Posted March 20, 2013 Posted March 20, 2013 Do you have redirected folders? Are you blocking the Desktop.ini file?
Kogelkopper Posted March 21, 2013 Posted March 21, 2013 Hi Ass17, If you are using roaming profiles, windows mail could be the problem, we have made a GPO for the PC wich disables the installation of windows mail. This is the policy: Hive HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE Key path SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\{44BBA840-CC51-11CF-AAFA-00AA00B6015C} Value name IsInstalled Value type REG_DWORD Value data 0x0 (0) You can create this under Computer Configuration\Preferences\Windows Settings\Registry This will speed up the process 10 to 15 seconds, at least! Good luck!! Best Regards, Leon
